Papirfly is a PE-backed B2B SaaS company with a leading MarTech product. As VP Group Accounting, you’ll lead and develop our global accounting and controller team and drive financial integration across our group companies. With cross-border operations and ongoing post-merger integrations, this role offers the opportunity to navigate financial complexities and shape scalable processes in a tech company with high ambitions.

We’re looking for someone with 8-12 years of experience from a background of audit, accounting or financial controlling, ideally with operational experience from global accounting and controller teams. You have sound leadership skills and a desire to drive continuous improvement and automation.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the global accounting and controller team, ensuring efficient and compliant operations across all Papirfly entities.
• Oversee all accounting functions, including monthly/annual close, consolidated reporting (IFRS), tax, VAT, and invoicing.
• Drive financial integration of acquired companies and maintain a robust internal controls framework.
• Continuously improve financial processes for enhanced accuracy and efficiency.
• Own and manage Papirfly Group's consolidated accounts and IFRS-based financial reporting.
• Lead preparations for future ESG reporting requirements.
• Oversee financial risks, tax matters, accounting policies, and transfer pricing.
• Manage the annual financial audit process and ensure tax compliance and compliance reporting.
• Maintain group wide Corporate Registers, board resolutions and share registers

Knowledge and Experience Required

• Master's degree in Auditing, Accounting or Finance.
• 8-12 years of audit/accounting experience, ideally including operational accounting roles.
• Demonstrated leadership experience and ability to mentor, coach and inspire a team to perform at their best across multiple locations.
• Strong qualitative and analytical skills
• Technical expertise in IFRS, tax regulations, and audit processes.
• Experience within international and/or scale-up businesses is an advantage.
• Highly motivated, a strong performer with a track record of delivering high-quality results.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and one of the Scandinavian languages.
