Lead the Tech. Shape the Product. Build the Team.

As a Tech Lead at Papirfly, you are the technical "Captain" and a strategic partner within our international engineering team. You stand where technical execution meets product vision and business impact.

You’ll lead a team with its heart in our Sandnes office, but the role is truly international, and you will manage and work with team members from our offices in the UK, France, and Czechia. It’s a dynamic setup, perfect if you like the feeling of a local team but want the impact of a global engineering organization.

You will work hand-in-hand with a Senior Product Manager, and while Product decides on the What and the Why, you and your team own the "How" and the "When." Your goal is simple but ambitious: ensure every feature we ship is well built, scalable, and a primary driver of value for the world’s biggest brands.

What You Will Do

Drive Technical Excellence

• Architectural Ownership: Make the calls that matter. Balance immediate wins with long-term scalability and lead our internal tech forums.

• Master Tech Debt: You own the technical health of the solution. Proactively negotiate the roadmap to keep our system clean and fast.

• Lead by Example: Stay close to the code. You participate in development and help the team crush their daily challenges.

Delivery & Product Partnership

• Own the Roadmap: Once the path is set, you drive the execution. Meet timelines, maintain quality, and keep the momentum high.

• Shape the Future: Be a vital part of the discovery phase. Your feasibility analysis and estimations help define our flagship products.

• Transparency: Act as the first line of communication for stakeholders, turning complex tech issues into clear business outcomes.

• Mentor & Level Up: Guide your team’s growth. Foster a culture of continuous improvement through root-cause analysis and international collaborative problem-solving.

• Gatekeeper of Quality: Run essential team rituals and help us shape a strong, high-performing engineering team. 

What You Bring to the Team

• Strong engineering background with the ability to lead a team and drive technical discussions. Our stack includes .NET / C#, NodeJS, Angular, TypeScript, and AWS. Solid experience with any part of the stack is a plus.

• Pragmatism: You know when to push for "perfect" and when to deliver for the business.

• Communication: You are a skilled communicator and can translate complex technical topics into a clear business impact understandable to anyone.

• Experience: Background in a global SaaS company is a plus, ideally within the MarTech space, or if you have other different experiences, we definitely want to talk!
